Nuraini is a soulful storyteller and multi-instrumentalist from the Sunshine Coast, delivering a fresh fusion of neo-soul and R&B, coloured by influences from funk, hip hop, jazz and reggae. After years of performing solo, she now lights up stages as the frontwoman of her dynamic band, creating live experiences that that blend improvisation, musicianship, and heart. Described by critics as “a masterful blend of sensuality and groove, weaving warm rhythms and soulful sophistication into an intimate, uplifting musical experience”, her live shows are known for their emotional depth, playful energy and tight, funky grooves.
Her debut EP, Luna, released in June 2025, is a radiant five-track project recorded with producer Ari Levy at Lev Productions. Each song shines with its own personality, from dreamy guitar melodies to soul-stirring vocal layers, together forming a cohesive journey unified by Nuraini’s signature warmth and style. The EP has been praised for its emotional resonance and feel-good energy, with Triple J reviewer Sara Glaidous calling it “a delightfully sweet number that’ll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.”
Notable achievements include winning the Soundhive competition with her rendition of a Bobby Alu cover, and being awarded Best Guitarist at the 2024 Noosa Busking Championships.
