Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, QLD Australia, Darcy Kate is an extremely passionate artist. Her original songs led by her melodic vocals are a timeless blend of genres including folk, country, rock, blues, and pop. Darcy Kate is an imaginative storyteller like the Australian greats before her. She bends emotive storytelling with pure pop sensibilities and her lyrics comprise themes of love, change, connection, and adventure.

Darcy’s debut album Wanderer recorded at Yama-Nui studio was released in June 2022 and was well-received with national radio play and international reviews. Wanderer features singles Last Train to Frankston, Run Away, Songbird, and of course, pop-folk earworm, Dorothy. Her sultry Blue Cascade was nominated for a Queensland Music Award (2023) and the songstress shows no signs of slowing down, having released three singles in 2024 (Hand in Hand in July, and Better Together in September, and Lola in November). Darcy is currently working on and recording her second album to be released in 2025. You can see Darcy perform at one of her acoustic shows in the Southeast Queensland region.
