28 year old Sunshine Coast Based multi instrumentalist sensation Chris Flaskas is an act not to be missed.  His uplifting original style of music which he calls Earth Rock has projected his name and alternate act abroad for his unique talents.  Using an array of traditional native instruments including the native Australian didgeridoo and the Hawaiian style lap steel slide to name a couple, this makes for a powerful act that touches and invigorates the soul.  Chris’s live performances show his diversity as a unique original Australian artist and have been classed as, powerful, motivating, energetic with a touch of tribal spirit.

Audiences who follow the likes of John Butler Trio or Xavier Rudd would be excited to experience the unique qualities within Chris’s music and live performances.  A New Sun released in 2014 was the first album Chris has released to date.  This 10 track album was captured and produced by Benji Pocock at Vibe Tone Recording Studios in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.  Current Chris has a new EP called When The Gold Is Gone which is due to be released in early 2016.  This colorful 4 Track EP has been recorded at Pix Records, Heliport Studios and Vibe Tone Studios on the Sunshine Coast and has been mastered by Leon Zervos at Studio 301, Sydney.
